Each SKALE Chain is an independent L1 with its own state, parameters, and roadmap. Chains are secured by a shared validator pool that stakes SKL on Ethereum and rotates across chains to prevent collusion. SKALE Manager smart contracts on Ethereum coordinate staking, pricing, and validator assignment, while native bridges move assets between SKALE Chains, Ethereum, and other ecosystems via SKALE Expand.
